Pickup at Sealdah
Your driver waits for you at the station. Sealdah has several entrances and large crowds, so we share the driver's name and number and agree a clear meeting point before you arrive.
The road and the ferry
From Sealdah the drive heads south to the ferry point at Lot No. 8, which is the end of the road. You then cross the river to Kachuberia on Sagar Island by ferry. Our second car meets you on the island and drives you to Gangasagar. Allow most of a morning or an afternoon for the whole journey.
Travelling in a group
Groups from Bihar, Jharkhand, Assam and North Bengal often arrive at Sealdah together. For ten or more people, a Tempo Traveller is usually easier than several taxis, and we can plan matching cars on both sides of the river.
